Pingtung City is a major port city located in the southwestern corner of Taiwan. It is the largest city in the Pingtung County, with a population of around two million people. The city is served by the Pingtung Airport (PIF), which is located 4 km northwest of the city centre. The airport offers domestic flights to other Taiwanese cities as well as international flights to China, Japan, and South Korea. Pingtung City is a bustling city, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions.
