McGrath is a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is located on the south bank of the Kuskokwim River near its confluence with the Takotna River in the interior of Alaska, roughly 160 miles west of Anchorage. McGrath is the closest town to the McGrath Airport, which provides transportation services to the surrounding area.
