Kenai is a city located in the Kenai Peninsula Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is situated on the west side of Cook Inlet, approximately 145 miles south of Anchorage. The city is the economic and cultural hub of the Kenai Peninsula, with a population of about 8,000 people.
